Week 9: Thing 23
Well, I can't believe I've made it through the 23 things! It has been an interesting journey. I really enjoyed parts of this course and I struggled through others. You Tube was fun, and I was glad to learn about the on-line tools that are available. This enabled me to learn several things that I would not have ordinarily taken the time to learn. It also reminded me that it is important to keep learning - lifelong learning should not be put on a back burner. As to weather or not I would take another course like this - I'd have to think about it, but I probably would be game! I'm glad I was able to finish. Thanks for the experience.

Week 9: Thing 22
I established an Overdrive account and explored titles there. I did locate Sandra Brown's Breath of Scandal that was available to download. I think this is a good option for some, but I'm surprised you can't download to an i-pod.
Week 9: Thing 21
I was surprized that so many of the podcasts were, what I considered, pretty long. I did find some interesting library related podcasts. I added a podcast to my Bloglines account. I found that the subject directories were very useful.

Week 9: Thing 20
I find You Tube very interesting and I think that you can find more than you'd want to on there! I didn't do too much exploring because of the time of day and our streaming issues, but I found the library domino video and added it to my blog. I like the site because it can be very entertaining. I'm sure there are plenty of educational videos that would be beneficial if they were applied to library websites.
Week 8: Thing 19
I've been exploring the Web 2.0 Awards. Again, this is a site I think I will come back to to do some additional exploring. Looks like lots of good stuff. I liked the categories you could click on. This could be a useful research tool in the library setting.
Week 8: Thing 18
As you can see, I've been checking out Zoho and published a "document" over there. I think this is a great option when documents are going from one pc to another. This is something that I think I will be using in the future.
